AUG 8, 2011 - Do Not Associate Astrology With 2012 is Chris Brennan's clear, cogent (and to my way of thinking, convincing) argument for astrologers steering our way clear of the whole 2012 hype and hysteria. It's an argument I've been making from one angle or another for years now - in online published form at least as far back as 1997, and most recently (last week) in a couple of Facebook posts addressing the 2012 Year of Astrology proposal: "Every year, year after year, is a year of astrology for me . . . this whole 'Year of (Whatever)' stuff is kinda silly, dontcha think? And why be associated with a year when so many bozos think the world will end? If there must be a 'Year of Astrology,' I like 2013. It sort of sticks a thumb in the eye of the whackadoos who think the world will end in 2012." Kudos, Chris Brennan: well said!
