JUL 18, 2011 - Indonesia Volcano is one of the headlines confirming my July forecast of "newsworthy strong storms with damaging winds and heavy precipitation, as well as moderate-to-severe seismic activity (magnitude 5+ earthquakes, possibly including subsequent tsunami, as well as volcanic eruptions.)" associated with the "full moon at 22° 27’ Capricorn on the 15th, in effect from the 11th (in advance of the lunar south declination peak on the 12th) into the 20th (following the Moon’s northward crossing of the celestial equator on the 19th)." It was a forecast when I wrote and published it last month. Now it's the news. The Mount Lokon eruptions began last week, and intensified over the weekend while the Moon was full. Thousands of people have been evacuated. During this same period, lots of powerful storms made the news (hello, Chicago!), and there have been several dozen magnitude 5+ earthquakes already. It's not over yet, so keep an eye out, the weather radio on, and some fresh batteries in the pantry just in case.
