JAN 9, 2006 - Astronomy Notes is, in a word, the best introduction to astronomy I can recall finding anywhere in all my years exploring the World Wide Web, and I heartily recommend it. No matter how much we think we know, it's always good to get a refresher on the basics. Astronomy Notes is a wonderfully clear primer, authored by Astronomy Professor Nick Strobel for his classes at Bakersfield College. It's well written in clear and simple language, illustrated, and with a minimum of mathematical equations (and even those are clearly explained). Don't pass this one by - it's a treasure!
