DEC 26, 2005 - Transits of Venus & Mercury is a quick and simple but long range (1000 BCE to 4000 CE) guide to the transits of Mercury and Venus across the face of the Sun as seen from Earth. You get the date and time (start and end) for all these events. Mercury transits are of most immediate interest, since there's one coming up on November 8, 2006 - the first one since May 7, 2003, and the last until May 9, 2016. (The last Venus transit was June 8, 2004; the next will occur on June 5-6, 2012; the next one after that won't arrive until 2117.) There's a lot to be gained from studying the pattern of these Mercury and Venus transits, and this web page makes it easy.
