OCT 17, 2005 - LiveScience.com is one of many fine online popular science magazines. It's worth a look even if you already have your favorite(s), if only on the chance that you'll find coverage missing elsewhere. (I've had that experience with LiveScience.com.) And then there's the Science of Fiction section, which points out the science fiction antecedents of current technology. For example, the iRobot Scooba and Roomba robotic floor cleaners were fairly well described in Robert Heinlein's 1956 novel The Door into Summer - some fifty years before the fact.
