SEP 19, 2005 - Carina Software is an online source for some excellent astronomy software, including Voyager III, Voyager 4 and SkyGazer - all available for both Windows and Mac platforms. The two Voyagers are suitable for users with some background in astronomy, while SkyGazer is aimed at casual skygazers, novice astronomers and classroom teachers. At anywhere from $79.95 to $179.95, these are reasonably priced and very capable astronomy software packages. (Voyager 4 has a one million year calculation range.) Both Voyagers can control most commercial telescopes, and there's a demo version of Voyager III free for the downloading.
