MAY 24, 2004 - Moon Phase Calculator is a handy little feature of the University of Texas McDonald Observatory's StarDate Online, featured in its own right in my APR 8, 2002 WOW award and review. While you'll find a whole panorama of cosmic treasures at StarDate Online as a whole, the Moon Phase Calculator is where you go to get a quick graphic read on lunar phases for any month in any year from 1951 to 2015: just select the month and year you want, then click "Go", and let JavaScript do the rest. (Assuming you have JavaScript enabled, of course.) It's quick and easy, and comes complete with a spiffy set of Earth-Moon-Sun FAQ.
