APR 28, 2003 - Science@NASA is not only a wonderful source of space technology news, as you'd probably expect. It's also a cutting edge point of contact with cosmic phenomena, the kind of celestial stuff that is the once and future essence of real astrology; which is to say a human understanding of the way humans and the cosmos mesh. For example, check out the report on the Sun's magnetic gyrations over the past few years - during which Sol had two north poles, plus an equatorial band of south pole flux. Don't think there's a human connection? Space physicist Pete Riley is more sanguine: "The Sun's magnetic field permeates the entire solar system. It interacts with Earth and is the primary driver of space weather." You'll find lots of fascinating astro stuff at Science@NASA - a real treasure trove.
