Astropro's
Website Of the Week Award ©2003 by Richard Nolle |
MAR 10, 2003 - Kim Jung Il is a website that's bound to be of interest to astrologers who try to keep a finger on the pulse of world affairs. It's a free feature of Korea Web Weekly, which bills itself as "an independent, non-partisan, non-profit web on all things Korean". While the rest of the website is a source of useful background on the looming crisis with North Korea, Kim Jung Il is of particular astrological interest because it provides (untimed) birth data on the North Korean dictator. According to the site, Kim "was born on February 16, 1942 . . . near Habarovsk (Siberia)". No time of birth nor source of birth data is given, nor are the coordinates for Habarovsk (135E18, 48N10). That said, a solar chart calculated for these data is more than enough to give any astrologer a jolt: this chart features a rolling Mars-Saturn-Uranus conjunction in Taurus, squared by Mars from May onward as the Red Planet transits over (and Uranus stations within degrees of) the natal Sun. If this is Kim's chart, it appears that he's a focus of danger this spring and summer: it's whack or be whacked in Pyongyang when Mars draws near to Earth. (And if Kim doesn't get it first, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Seoul at the time.)
