DEC 21, 1998 - Alt.Astrology.Moderated is a site for sore eyes if you're looking for an astrology newsgroup free of the garbage that afflicts so many newsgroups. Unlike the open newsgroups, this one is moderated; which means that messages must be approved in order to be posted. This eliminates the petty flaming and spamming that makes a lot of other newsgroups a real pain to plow through. You can subscribe to alt.astrology.moderated through your news server of course. But you can also check this newsgroup's online archive to see if it's what you're looking for. The online archive is also handy if your news server, like mine, occasionally fails to retrieve all messages. (Who can figure?)
