Kronk's Comet Hale-Bopp home page is in lots of ways the best of the
many Web resources devoted to the astronomy of this deep space interloper,
and it's my personal favorite. If you're curious about what is bound to
be the comet of the year - maybe even the comet of the century - this is
a website not to be missed. Besides a wealth of images - Tim Puckett's
photo of Hale-Bopp is a vision to behold - and a generous assortment of
links to other Hale-Bopp sites, Gary offers a unique perspective on the
parallels between this comet and the Great Comet of 1811: be sure to see
the page devoted to the latter while you're exploring his site.
