I mentioned that Saturn would be within a degree of its March 7 station point from February 3 onward, and I noted that "a cyclic turning of the tide where the US dollar decline is concerned" could be expected to accompany this celestial marker sometime during that interval. Funny how it works. On February 7, a Reuters report on the Boca Raton G7 meeting put it this way: "European officials attending a global finance chiefs' meeting on Saturday said Europe had agreed with the United States that it is time for calm in currency markets and that the dollar has slid far enough against the euro." That announcement was followed two weeks later by the dollar pushing to six-week highs against the yen, and two-week peaks against the euro on Friday, February 20th. Reuters described it as "as a temporary pause in the dollar's two-year downtrend."
