If you were expecting some kind of sun sign nonsense, forget it. This is real astrology. See the section above. Please note: this forecast is expressed in terms of Universal Time (UT).
The "ongoing period of turbulence which continues from the 22nd through the end of February" arrived on schedule, replete with "earthquake and volcanic potential" as predicted. A Richter 5.4 earthquake struck the Mexico-California border region on Friday, February 23 - the day the Moon reached maximum northern declination. "Heavy rain" was also in the forecast for this period, and it produced killer floods in the Bolivian capital of La Paz during the week ending March 2. There were 63 confirmed deaths, with hundreds of people left homeless in the wake of the deluge. The mayor of La Paz estimated total damages would be in excess of $100 million. During that same week Brazil - one of the target zones mentioned in my forecast - suffered a serious outbreak of dengue fever, as heavy rains helped foment the mosquito-borne viral disease: at least 18 people died and more than 40,000 others were infected. (By mid-March, the death toll had risen to 28, with over 70,000 people infected.) Meanwhile, in Japan (another target zone), the Oyama volcano sprang to life, emitting a plume of smoke that was photographed by NASA's SeaWIFS satellite. Volcanoes were also springing to life in Africa and the Americas that week: Cerro Negro in Nicaragua, Colima in Mexico and Nyamuragira in Congo.
